For Visiting Boats

For those boats that join us during the boating season, we provide this information.

Harbour Staff and Security
During the boating season Harbour Staff are on seven days a week. From launch until June 30, hours are 0800 to 1700. From July 1 until Labour Day, their hours are 0800 to 2000 7 days a From Labour Day until the end of haulout, the revert to 0800 to 1700. If you require the assistance of Harbour Staff, contact the Communications Centre to have the Harbour Staff paged, or call at (416) 994-1430, or VHF Channel 68. PCYC belongs to the Marine Watch program.
Members are asked to be vigilant about persons entering and leaving boats of their fellow Members and to report any suspicious happenings to Harbour Staff or the Club’s Communication Centre.

Mooring Assignment for Visiting Boats
PCYC Members enjoy reciprocal docking privileges at other clubs around the lake. In order to provide similar privileges to visitors from other clubs it is sometimes necessary to moor those visitors in the slips of Members who are away. For this reason it is important that Members who will be away from their slip for a period notify the Club of their plans. This will enable the slip to be available to visitors, and still permit the Harbour Staff to ensure the slip will be open in time for the Member’s planned return. Please notify a Harbour Staff or the Communications Centre
of your cruising plans. Visitors will be asked to vacate the slip by 1100h.

Facilities
Washrooms, and toilets are located in the north end of the lower level of the Clubhouse. This includes handicapped washroom and shower facilities. Additional washroom and shower facilities are located in the pool house.

Washers and dryers are located in the bottom of the Pool House.

Packaged ice containers are located next to the Harbourmaster’s Office and outside the Chartroom. Contact the Harbour Staff or Bartender for assistance.

Fuel and Pump Out
Fuel is available from the Lakefront Promenade Park marina which is located immediately to the north of the Club.

A portable emergency water pump is stored in the pumpout box, beside the Harbourmaster’s Office, during the summer months and outside the inner most handicapped washroom hallway on the north end of the lower level of the Clubhouse during the winter months.
