Cruising Trophy
Donated by CDE Lamont
First awarded in 1936.
Originally awarded for the annual cruising race to Bronte Harbour. PCYC boats racing in inter-club events - awarded to the PCYC boat with best three LORC overnight races.
Now awarded to the PCYC yacht with the best results in L.O.R.C. events, White Sail division. Purchased by PCYC in 1939 to recognize the lowest combined elapsed time for an annual race to Bronte, followed by a return race to PCYC the next day. In the 1950's the trophy represented the best results in three overnight races run by the Cruising Yacht Racing Association.
